At LSDA we are aware that the process of attempting to secure a place at Drama School is an expensive affair. Most schools require all applicants to pay a significant amount of money to simply apply and if prospective students what to apply to more than one academy then the amount being paid out becomes impossible for most people.
When looking to apply to drama school back in the 1990s, LSDA’s principal Jake was only able to afford to pay the application fees for one school and so he has to think carefully about which one school he would apply to. He was lucky that he was successful in that application and enjoyed his experience at the Drama Centre London. When he set up LSDA in 2005 he was adamant that what happened to him would not happen to anyone who was interested in applying to this school. And we are pleased to say that we have kept to this promise over the past 20 years and remained a champion of the free application process.

We offer a number of courses at LSDA to suit a variety of levels of experience. We currently offer 1 year full time courses in acting (Advanced and Foundation Level), a 2 year part time Diploma in Acting courses, Summer short courses and Sunday acting workshops.
We still have places on some of our courses. We do not charge to audition so why not apply today… Perhaps you might be interested in one of our short summer courses…
