ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN ACTING (FULL TIME)

The Advanced Diploma is a one-year intensive vocational training in acting, teaching core skills in acting, voice and movement and an understanding of the acting industry. It is intended for those looking to enter the profession upon graduation.

Our classes in acting techniques, Improvisation, textual analysis, vocal training, singing, movement and dance, acting for film and TV are all taught by experienced working professionals. We have regular performance projects throughout the year enabling students to put their new skills into practice. In the final term students participate in two different public performance projects, at professional theatre venues in Central London. Our students benefit from regular meetings with working actors, directors, casting directors, agents and other industry professionals who give practical advice on different aspects of the acting world.

This course aims to provide the skills and contacts needed for our graduates to begin life as a working actor.

The LSDA admits only a limited number of students each year to maintain a close-knit learning environment. We believe this sets the right scene for growth and development for an actor.

Our course runs Monday to Friday over three 12 week terms, each day is approximately 9am – 6pm and is delivered between LSDA’s three venues.
